- In accordance with AR 190-11, AR 710-2, and DA Pam 750-1, the following individual is appointed as the Unit Armorer for 176th Engineer Brigade (TXARNG).

- Authority. AR 190-11, Physical Security of Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives; AR 710-2, Supply Policy Below the National Level; DA Pam 750-1, Chapter 10.

- Duties and Responsibilities. The Unit Armorer will:
- Maintain accountability of all weapons assigned to the unit
- Conduct weapons inventories IAW AR 190-11
- Perform weapons maintenance and repairs within unit capability
- Maintain weapons maintenance records and documentation
- Ensure arms room security standards are met
- Conduct weapons inspections and serviceability checks
- Coordinate with Direct Support for weapons repairs beyond unit capability
- Issue and receive weapons IAW established procedures
- Maintain arms room logs and access rosters
- Ensure proper storage of cleaning materials and supplies
- Qualifications. Must have completed Unit Armorer Course or equivalent training.
- This appointment memorandum will be validated annually.
