• Serve as the commander's principal advisor on radiation safety matters
• Ensure compliance with Army radiation safety regulations
• Maintain accountability of all radiation-emitting items
• Conduct radiation safety inspections and surveys
• Maintain radiation exposure records for personnel
• Ensure proper storage and handling of radioactive materials
• Coordinate radiation safety training for personnel
• Report radiation incidents IAW established procedures
• Maintain required licenses and permits for radioactive materials
• Coordinate with installation RSO and higher headquarters

1. Qualifications. Must have completed Radiation Safety Officer training and certification.
