Communication is the key to moving maintenance forward. Support agencies are often overwhelmed and undermanned, so the units that clearly identify priorities, follow up, and stay engaged are the ones most likely to get traction.

The squeaky wheel gets the oil, but complaining does not solve the problem. Leaders become part of the solution by using the ESR to source options, clarify priorities, and bring useful information to the support agencies that can help.

Effective maintenance requires the whole team to work the problem together. Traditional solutions, creative options, and timely follow-up all depend on communication, not waiting for someone else to solve the issue.
