Your Student Dashboard

This tool is designed to help Brownsville Kuk Sool Won students prepare for rank testing by showing required material and letting students track their own progress over time.

Purpose

The goal is simple: keep requirements organized and make it easy to stay on track between classes. Instead of relying on memory, scattered notes, or verbal reminders, the dashboard gives you one clear place to see what you need and how you are doing.

It is built around clarity—so you know what to work on—and practicality—so you can update progress as you practice.

Who It Is For

This is for students preparing for rank testing at Brownsville Kuk Sool Won.

Instructors and parents are secondary users: they can help support the student, and they can use the dashboard as a shared reference when talking about preparation.

How to Use This Dashboard

  1. Select your age band (Junior: age 12 & under, or Adult & Youth: age 13 & over — WKSA testing charts) and your current rank from the dropdowns.
  2. Enter your next test date.
  3. Open each category and technique set to review the required material for your age and rank.
  4. Mark your progress for each requirement using the proficiency levels.
  5. Come back over time and update your progress as you practice.

Proficiency Levels

These levels help you track where you are right now. They are self-reported and meant to guide practice.

  • Untrained: You have not learned or practiced this yet.
  • In Progress: You have seen it or practiced briefly but are not yet consistent.
  • Trained: You can perform it but need more repetition and consistency.
  • Proficient: You can perform it correctly, consistently, and with confidence.
