Business Case
The Business Case is not developed by the Planning Team but is a vital Document used throughout the plan.
Project Charter
Outlines the purpose, objectives, key stakeholders, and high-level scope of the project. While not part of the formal Project Management Plan, it serves as a foundational authorization document.
Project Management Plan
The master document that integrates and consolidates all subsidiary plans. It defines how the project will be executed, monitored, and closed.
Change Management Plan
Describes how project changes will be requested, evaluated, approved/rejected, and documented throughout the lifecycle.
Configuration Management Plan
Outlines the process for identifying, controlling, and auditing changes to configuration items (documents, deliverables, systems).
Performance Measurement Baseline
Combines the scope, schedule, and cost baselines to measure and track overall project performance.
Project Life Cycle Description
Describes the phases of the project and key decision points, tailored to the organization’s development methodology (predictive, agile, or hybrid).
Development Approach
Details the methodology or framework (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) selected to guide development and execution.
